Der Titel dieses Werkes findet seinen Ursprung im japanischen Wort ‘Mokuyo' das ‘Donnerstag' bedeutet. Dieser prächtige, spritzende Konzertmarsch wurde im Auftrag des Sinfonischen Blasorchesters aus Shiga, Japan, ‚Mokuyo-gumi' genannt, komponiert. Selbstverständlich darf man diesen Marsch jeden Tag der Woche spielen.
