Wie bereits aus dem Titel dieser Melodienfolge hervorgeht, entstammen alle Lieder und Tänze aus Südtirol, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf die Umgebung von Klausen und Brixen gesetzt wurde. Die instrumentalen, wohl kaum gekannten Kompositionen konnten dankenswerterweise vom Institut für Musikerziehung Abt. Volksmusik aus der Sammlung von Karl Horak "Volksmusik aus Tirol" entnommen werden.
