Pulchra es entstand 2019 im Auftrag von El León de Oro unter der Leitung von Marco Antonio Garcia de Paz für den internationalen Chorwettbewerb Florilège Vocal de Tours, bei dem besonders auch neu vorgestellte Kompositionen prämiert werden. Pulchra es wurde als bestes neues Chorwerk ausgezeichnet (Prix pour une oeuvre de création).
