Fritz Kreisler was a violinist and composer and lived from 1875 to 1962. After a tour through the U.S. he studied medicine from 1889 to 1899, after which he resumed his violin career. Kreisler was one of the greatest violinists of all time. His compositions include concerts and operettas, but he was especially known for his many violin compositions such as Liebesfreud and Miniature Viennese March.
